A Member of Mount Paran
Church of God in Atlanta, Georgia, since
July of 1981.
In 1987, Mount Paran
expanded into a second facility in Marietta,
Georgia, Mount Paran North Church of God.
In 1996, Mount Paran's
senior pastor, Dr. Paul L. Walker, became
Pastor Emeritus of Mount Paran, when he was
elected to and accepted the position of
General Overseer of the Church of God
International, headquartered in Cleveland,
TN. The leadership of Mount Paran Church of
God was turned over to Dr. David Cooper; and
that of Mount Paran North Church of God was
passed to Dr. Mark L. Walker. Both were
named Senior Pastors of their respective
churches.
